Our Mom’s Restaurant & Bar Employee to Sing National Anthem for Baton Rouge Rougarou

Gabriel Hamontree works as a server at the Baton Rouge location of Our Mom’s Restaurant & Bar, and many will tell you that his joyfulness is infectious. As Gabriel says, “I’m always bringing good vibes with whatever I’m doing.” When he is on shift, it isn’t uncommon to catch him singing and dancing his way around the restaurant. He does it because it makes him happy, and it turns out that it makes Our Mom’s patrons pretty happy too.

During a recent visit to the restaurant, a representative of Baton Rouge’s minor league baseball team, Rougarou, happened to catch Gabriel during one of his many impromptu performances. They were so impressed with him, his talent, and wonderful persona that they invited him to sing the national anthem before an upcoming home game.

Anyone who enjoys baseball, a good singing voice, or just a great time can see Gabriel perform before the upcoming Rougarou game at Pete Goldsby Field at 7:05PM on Thursday, June 17th, 2021.
